This is Blackberry Storm 3. It's not clear if the BlackBerry 9570 will be called Storm 3 or something else, but more RAM, BlackBerry OS 6 and a new camera aside, there's little else that's new.
The RAM upgrade to 512MB is significant as this handset is rumored to be running OS6 which needs 512MB of RAM as a minimum to run.
Here's a recap of what happened - photos of a touchscreen-packing BlackBerry appeared, with rumors that it was the BlackBerry Storm 3. It had a bigger screen and an optical trackpad - something that the first and second Strom phones lacked.
But the first leak of a refresh for the BlackBerry Storm 2 was a slide with a photo and some specs and there was no sign of a trackpad. The new photos show that trackpad-less BlackBerry Storm 9570, so obviously that's the same device. It's yet unclear whether BB will try selling it as the Storm 2+ or Storm
What RIM will end up naming the BlackBerry Storm 9570 and what will happen to that other "Storm 3" (the one with the trackpad) remains to be seen.
